You can take this on a daily basis to support your immune system and overall health. If you aren’t great at a daily dose, don’t worry! You can take this as needed. Taking a spoonful of honey will also help remedy your symptoms and boost your immune system. You can even add it to teas or other drink. Use it as a marinade or in your cooking too if you would like!
How to make Fermented Honey Garlic
First off you want to get the best sources you can. If you can get raw, local, organic honey, please do. If you can get organic garlic, or home grown, do it! I chose to go the lazy route…I bought a giant bag of already peeled garlic cloves from Costco (life saver!) To store what I didn’t use, I just plopped the leftover bag in to the freezer. I was fortunate to use homegrown honey from our back yard!!
Simply grab a glass mason jar, you can choose whichever size you’d like, I believe I went with a quart size. First fill the jar with the peeled garlic cloves. Then, pour honey over the top. You want to do this slowly and use a tool to mix it in to the garlic cloves. Be sure that the cloves are completely covered in the honey.
Put a lid on your jar and set out of direct sunlight, I put mine in the pantry. Check on it every few days to make sure the garlic is still beneath the honey. For maximum benefits allow it to ferment for at least 4 weeks.

This was so informative! I can’t wait to make it! While it is fermenting, how often are you supposed to flip it?
Jenn
I only flip it if the garlic cloves are not covered by the honey. I imagine if you use a weight then this step would not be necessary. Since I did not use a weight I probably flipped it every morning.
