I’ve been married to my best friend for 16 years! We have 9 kids, 5 boys, 3 girls, and a surprise on the way! I am currently homeschooling grades 10 down to Pre-K.
I grew up in the city and was the second child of four girls.
For 11 years of our marriage we lived in the city in a home we bought when I was 19 and my husband was 20. We had 6 kids there before we found our little homestead in the country on three acres. We have too many chickens, 5 goats, 3 ducks, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 bunnies, as well as 3 beehives. We also have a garden that we are in the process of moving closer to the house.
Over the years I have learned so much about natural living and health. We use vinegar based cleaners, Castile soap, essential oils, homeopathy, tinctures, herbal teas, raw honey, and more.
A FEW FUN FACTS ABOUT ME:
I met my husband in high school at the movie theater (we worked there).
I transferred out of regular high school my Junior year and opted for an alternative high school to graduate from.
My 8th baby came so fast that my midwife didn’t make it and my husband had to catch, this baby was also born encaul (our 2nd born with the water bag completely in tact!)
I became a home birth student midwife in October 2021. I have loved serving mamas and learning more about birth. I also was able to attend a Breech Workshop in October 2022, and it was incredible!
My husband and I had the opportunity to go to Ireland in October 2022. It is such a beautiful place and we had a lovely time! But we also missed our babies and were happy to get home.
