Plan a special Valentine’s Day dinner and involve everyone in the preparation. It’s a great way to bond and enjoy a delicious meal. Young kids can set the table. Get a cheap Valentine’s themed tablecloth from the dollar store and Valentine’s themed paper cups and plates if you’d like!

Play board games, card games, or dice games that the whole family can enjoy. Make it extra festive with heart-themed games or prizes.

9. Family Book Club
Choose a family friendly book and read it together. Discuss the story and characters over a cup of hot chocolate. Share your love story of how you met and when you found out you were pregnant with each of your kids. Tell them about how it was love at first sight when they were born, and even before they were born!

10. Acts of Kindness
Encourage each other with acts of kindness. Make cards for one another with coupons like “no chore day” or “foot rub”, etc. Go around the room and tell each person something you love about them.
